Another school year has begun and with it comes many groups reforming, including our two choirs. Zion’s Chorus, our adult choir, began at the end of August meeting on Tuesday nights at 7:00pm. We’ve had a great turn out of ladies, but are still hoping to add a few men. Come join us if you have a heart to worship and find joy in joining with others to sing!
Savior’s Singers, our youth choir for ages 8 and up, started on September 29th and will continue on Saturdays at 3:30pm through December. We have a lot of fun doing vocal warm-ups, sharing hi’s and low’s, and learning new songs. We’ll be singing the last Sunday of October and November at the 9:30am service, as well as one of the Sunday’s near Christmas. Last year we had eight girls join, and this year it looks like we’ll have even more! It is a great joy to work with youth who love to sing the praises of our King.
If you have questions about how to participate in music at Zion please talk to either Jackie McGinnis or myself.
Yours in Christ,
